    Hi Guys,

I haven't done any tiered links now for a good year but I'm working on a site and it feels like time to bring out GSA for a spin.

Are tiers still okay right now? Many say no but it's hard to sort the bullshitters from those with real experience.

Any change of tactics from a year back I'll need to employ?

Thanks in advance for replies :)

    Hi Sudorank

I can't answer your question. But today I saw a thread on GSA SER which teaches about tiered linking. I have picked two things that I never thought of.

    Thanks Zoe,

I was browsing the GSA Forum this morning, seems to be where all the major league GSA heads hang out.

I've a suspicion that the thread you posted is probably a good guide for GSA in 2014, time to start putting a campaign together!

In my opinion most of the websites that are accessible to the general public are not worth it - already spammed to death/will be spammed to death and abused, if you manage to submit to sites that are not spammed and hard for other people to find/post, then perhaps, but that takes extra resources.

All backlinks methods is still effective, but the point is about quality, so if you can build tiers with quality it will work.

Hey buddy, I think you can go with a gradual flow in building the Tier-2 link building. Select the High quality sites like 10 to 15 and do the work manually in good ration. Don't be in rush to get the ranking and traffic.

Hope you won't spam your site by Churn and Burn.

What? Checking to see what might have changed in a technique I've not used for a while?

Lol, no I think in all but a few choice sectors churning has kinda ended.

That's pretty much the tactic I'd go with anyway, I was more thinking about algo updates effecting the number of links now needed to rank.

It doesn't seem like too much has changed so going to do what I used to do and keep the quality high.

tiered spam linking still works great, you just need to know what you are doing. Also Google places a lot of importance on the flow of the tier 2 links (the more gradual drip) the better.

I get the impression this whole thread was just an excuse for sudorank [IMG] and MatthewWoodward to do a little self promotion.

Anyway, thanks for the comments guys, it feels like nothing much has changed at all! I'm half way through setting up GSA whilst making this post.

I can answer categorically, that Pussy still tastes good in 2014 but you have to watch out for the dirtbox penalty.

Although I've been a member since last year (mainly in programming bot threads), I am a 2014 bloomer in terms of SEO. I have 2 month old sites with gsa building links on them and my rank is going up slowly but surely. I currently have 3 long tails on the first page and started making some money. So in my limited experience I must it does work
