Are these really the top offers?

    I'm using a few CPA companies and one company posts the top converting offers per category. I have a few questions regarding these:

    For Banner Ads
    1. Verizon Apple Iphone 4
    2. Walmart $1000 Gift Card
    3. Apple iPad2
    4. Dating Speed Date

    1. Verizon Apple Iphone 4
    2. Walmart $1000 Gift Card
    3. Dating: Speed Date
    4. $500 Home Depot

    I don't quite understand how they come up with this. I ran the Speed dating banner. Results: 10,345 impressions 2 clicks, no conversions. I know I know...what demographic? I figured I would at least make a few conversions on a celebrity gossip blog.

    Then for PPC - how can you run paid traffic to that $1000 Walmart card. That blows my mind. Same for Home Depot.

    Just looking for general feedback and thoughts on the above.

    For paid traffic sources, I would recommend to use not so commercially looking custom made squeeze page with opt-in, you will get a lot of subscribers, if you will target the right audience and then you will be able to make conversions with 2-5 follow up emails (not just with one shot, by throwing them to actual CPA submit page) ;)
