I have no experience in KW or MNS sites, except research the past week. I randomly thought of two keywords, EMD on ALL TLD's are available. CPC is GREAT. I feel like I hit the jackpot, please tell me I did. TrafficTravis says both are relatively easy to rank in. First has about 2.5 million search engine competition, second has 3.4 million. If enough people tell me they're good I'm going to pick up the .com's ASAP  Oh and they have related affiliate offers that pay really well.

That low competition in the adwords is quite scary. Check your competitors sites and see if any relevant ads are showing.

There's only one real competitor that's not a forum or blog, and it's using media buys.

I agree. Sometimes google keyword tool said that the keyword is low comp but it is more than 200k comp. Check the real competition by using google search. 50k should be easier for newbie. Just my 2 cent :d

Instead of focusing on how many pages are indexed for your keyword, you should focus on how competitive the top 10 websites are. Afterall, if you can beat the top 10 you can beat all of the sites below them.

Google keyword tool competition is how many advertisers there are for your keyword.

You want this to be high!

What kind of ads do you see on the right side of google search? Is it full? Are they related?

These numbers are just the first preliminary step. Now its your job to go find your competitors backlinks, rate their power etc. These tools just help you decide if these keywords are worth the research.

The competition column in the adwords keyword tool is not for SEO - it's for the PPC ads next to the organic search results.

There's no way to tell without analyzing the competitions on page and off page seo.. There is no yes or no. That's why nobody is giving an answer.

There's one ad on the google search page, but TONS of CB offers that are very closely related. Should I just buy a $0.50 .info and do a test run with CB?
