These are my Amazon affiliate website stats in Health and fitness niche.

Monthly Website visitors - 800+
Clicks on Amazon Affiliate Links - 80+
Conversion rate on amazon is about 8%

No, I didn't buy the website. I created it from scratch. Wrote good quality articles. There are about 50 articles right now. And started a link building campaign few months ago.

Why not if the commission rate is high ?
the comission low as you can see 8%

if the item is $100 he only get $8 each sale.

but it better then nothink.

800 traffic a day very good and hopefully build up more .

the idea i hope is to eventually find the same product and ship it to them dropshipping.

as the profit can be heigher then 50% ..

i wish you luck and well done.....

Looks really good, I think. 8% conversion is bomb! I get 8% during the holidays only. So I would say these are impressive stats.

Did you write the articles yourself, or order them? Thank you and Good Luck :)

Good stats imo,

please take note the acceptable rate is 8-12% for newly build sites via organic traffic

One suggestion is to offer freebies

Hope It Helps,
C.

Thanks for your feedbacks.
- Its a new website so at present there isn't much profit. Though, I am spending next to nothing on it. As I host it on my shared hosting website with all my other sites. Further, I didn't dedicately work on it. Just got articles on it and ran a targetting niche link building campaign using Scrapebox.

- The traffic is mostly organic. The problem I am experiencing is that only 1 of my articles is bringing 90% of all traffic. I am trying to figure way to rank other articles too.

- Articles are mostly written by my girlfriend as her English and writing skills are far superior to mine. I also add few articles once in a while.

---- My 30 day plan for tomorrow.
- Add 5 new articles every day.
- Review the on-page optimization of all posts.
- Start a dedicated link building campaign using manual link building, scrapebox, ranker x and GSA. I kinda hate GSA as its hard to get good quality Links with it.
- I have a facebook page with 1700 organic likes. Mostly middle aged US ladies. I will see how can I promote the products there.

I started this website as side project, as I am usually busy on seo campaigns for my clients and also on fiverr.

You should always aim higher with conversions

Do you write all articles of your website by yourself?

Most of hte articles are written by my Girlfriend. Some of them by me. I usually go to foreign language blogs on my niche, and then take an article translate it and rewrite it.

That's pretty good stats. It seems I also need to focus more on high value items. Currently the items I am promoting cost below 30$ so my earnings are very low. :(

I also started a website to promote Amazon product and after 6 months, total income is only $100. Your stat looks much better than mine. Good luck!

You should be getting more clicks on your affiliate links...
Your CTR is 10%. I'm getting 40% + CTR on my amazon affiliate website.
Perhaps your content needs some modifications...
The content on my site is structured as follows:

  • Intro paragraph
  • A table containing all the products (& their specs) mentioned in the article (with affiliate links on each product in the table)
  • PRODUCT 1
Description of the product

Image of product with link to amazon

A 'buy now' button with link to amazon
  • PRODUCT 2
etc.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will implement it accordingly on my posts.

No problem!
I've also recently started making unique videos for each article as well. I place them in between the intro paragraph and the table.
The videos are uploaded on youtube which might also bring in some more traffic.

There was a great post on the forum which perfectly described the structure of amazon affiliate websites. Altough i don't remember who posted it, but there's one point I still remember from that post - "The whole purpose of your website is to get the visitor to Amazon as quickly as possible. So don't be shy to place call to actions throughout the article that leads them to Amazon."
