I have been distracted too much by using twitter, reading useless articles without taking action, watching Netflix, on my laptop, instead of doing atleast 3 hours of work per day as a lion should with total focus and involvement.

So are there any tools i can install on my pc and mobile to just block the websites in such a way that even if i want to unlock them later and have the compulsion to browse them, I wont be able to lets for next 30 days.

Suggest some other productivity tips as well

There are some chrome extensions that could allow you to do this easily.

There are many tools but in my opinion it all comes back to self discipline and lack of staying focused for effective periods of time, Easier said than done I know. I have daily targets to reach and sometimes find myself in those endless video shorts on YouTube wasting my time before snapping out of it and getting back to work.

I think it’s okay to give the mind a short break when needed. My advice is to try install some discipline in everyday life bit by bit take time to focus on other aspects keep good mental health, Keep fit and have a good overall balance in life I think all these things help. One step at a time building good self discipline and focusing the mind in whichever way works with you. Set limitations each day that are achievable and start to decrease all the negative actions.

what I said may make no sense at all but I hope it maybe resonated with you a little and hopefully helps.

Great advice. It is indeed hard sometimes to ignore distractions but if one keeps practicing self discipline it eventually becomes a habit.

On phone you can use the Freedom app to block social media apps and websites.

Most browsers already have an option to block pages and certain web addresses, you can go about this after tinkering with your browser's settings. I believe there's also a way to do that on Window's internet settings so check that out too. If all else, Chrome might have extensions to make doing that easier.

it would also help if you named your browser so we can name some block tools for it .

I would normally say just focus up and try to avoid those sites. However, here is a video showing you how to block those sites from your computer using your hosts file:
