Get an android tablet with flash you should be good for most things. I have two Dropads for sale with ginger bread on it 7" you can look them up. Or even a new windows 8 tablet should do it. Ipads are good but might get buggy when you try to do more of the complicated web browsing

Most tablets will be able to access Wordpress. If there isn't an app for it then you could just use the browser like others have stated.

wait for new ones to come out, quad core tablets, but i think they wont appear till early 2012.

it really depends on your budget, youre looking at 500-800 for a good one.

Both Android tablet anh the iPad has Wordpress app to maintain self-hosted wordpress our blogs on wordpress.com.

The better solution is Blogpress on iPad, it can maintain many blog types such as blogger, tumblr, wordpress. drupal,... I don't use my ipad anymore so I can't remember ever detail. Waiting for it to be ported to Android as I only user my phone now

Just an android tablet with flash will do you fine... There's no need for apps, they're limiting comparable to a browser's capabilities. Get the Toshiba Thrive, I had it, it's the BEST. Check it out!
