nope, no real competition and no other site comes close to having the traffic of ebay! As of today, eBay has 26,608,498 million listings, the next top auction site ebid has 2,418,995 million and ecrater #3 has 1,710,427 million listings. The 2nd and 3rd auctions sites get less than 1% of eBays daily traffic
i'm on ecrater and so far i've only 1 sale. i sell trading cards. the good thing about ecrater is that your pages are put on the google shopping searches. its pretty hard to sell there at least i think so. there are people in the forum section of ecrater that have sales. i suppose if you have the background and successfull selling already you might do well.
