    Aged Accs vs New Accs

Are there any difference between creating new accounts or using old accounts for your ad?
This has been a question for last few years. Especially aged accounts runs with lower cpc some says.
I also witness myself that some people seeking to buy aged accounts to run their ad. Its make sense.

Some thoughts from marketplace given below.

"Using the old AdWords account may have the additional benefits associated with various types of history accumulated within it. In case your former campaigns were being managed the right way or approximately the right way, the old account may have a considerable superiority over a new one."

"The age of your account can affect things such as ad approval times and not getting hit quite so quick with the ban hammer if your ads don't meet approval standards."

"Yep they do - IF you had a good CTR account history. Remember, CTR (both old and new) is about 60% of the QS game with Google, so older accounts with lots of money spent while having had a good CTR always get a big boost with Google Adwords."

No. Why would there be? The success of your advertising on Adwords, Bing or anywhere else, be it online or off, depends on you. If you can't have a successful campaign on one account - new or old - and doing the same on another account, this won't change. It won't make your CPC lower or QS higher.

There is no evidence that I've seen that the history of an account affects any campaign. Think about it. Let's say you sell one product. Later you sell and advertise a totally different product (think large ecommerce site like a Walmart or Best Buy). Why would have doing well (or poorly) advertising the first product have any effect on your second product's advertisement? They each operate separately and each will gather their own histories.

You need to understand the root principle of how PPC campaigns work. In order to make money, the ad networks will display the better ads more often. That doesn't mean the one ready to pay more. A 10% click rate ad paying $1 will make them more money than a 2% rate paying $3. Simple math and the principle behind the QS calculation.

So even if you did well selling one product, that has (or should) no bearing on your advertising other products. Of course, if you did poorly on the first, you'll probably not do well on others.

The second thought about age of account giving more leeway to disapproved ads is pure BS. Google and other ad network don't care what your history is. If you ad or anything else doesn't meet their approval, they'll let you know. They won't say "oh, he's been advertising with us for five years, let's wait". The money you have spent also has no bearing on anything. Anybody who says differently is lying or speculating.

sure it has, in my opinion. If the domain is clean, then it will be regarded as such and it will be easier to pass the review process. If it's new, then it would be a good idea to start bringing some new and fresh content and prepare it for a month or so
