I found some great .ru domains and I was wondering if they are even useful to google.com in terms of ranking, searched the web and didn't find any information so maybe someone knows if .ru domains are actually good to a PBN, thanks guys.

It matters less about the domain extension and more about the website content. While the .ru is a Russian language precursor/signal to Google it's not the only way the judge the language of a given domain.

In simple terms, you should be fine using .ru domains in your PBN.

I wouldn't build a PBN from .ru domains only, if your sites aren't all russian. I personally try to keep the content of revived expireds as close to the original content as possible. It may not matter for power/ranking purposes, but I want my PBN sites to look as legitimate as possible. For the same reason, some shitty "homepage builder" software and a site looking like 1998 can be a smarter choice than just wordpress, some random theme and the usual articles.

If your site is in English and you have a .RU link profile, you'll be as toxic as Fukushima water.

If you have a lot of ru links pointing to your site thats very bad and your site could end up having a "translate page" option next to it in search results (happened to me with a shitty sape links provider).

But one or two links pointing is only going to add diversity so if you have found some great ones, feel free to use them in your PBN.

Its very hard to judge them by the way if you don't speak russian so are you sure found a great domain, it could be a lot of spam pointing to it.

    Good luck :)

Unlist you are target Russian audience it is not a grate idea, consider seo and link weight it does't matter which domain extension you use,
But due to reputation of Russian links farms and spamm rank using them, having pnb with ru extension pointing com domain with english content, will be red flag for google.

Btw you never know 100% before you try.
