just wondering dears if you can do this for affiliate thanks
Not really, they are very 2004
EDIT: Holy fuck 2004 was 11 years ago. I feel old.
You can use them very well, they are still very useful in some niches but in others its pointless. If you are going to do them but make sure they are high authority sites, You can spend from anywhere $50 to $1000 for 50+ press releases to different sites and ive ranked quite a few times with just them.
you ranked with JUST press releases!!!!!
idk what i'm doing then running 50 different tools and stacks and buying pbns and 20K other things.
so you are saying you do a press release...... wait a bit? do another one? and rank with just those!!!!!
Do press releases if you have something genuine newsworthy, you might get some visitors
Once upon a time they were do follow and helped with rankings
Now they?re no follow
nope! for affiliate site; i don't think press release does much work!
Google has now changed it algorithm to count the genuineness of the press release!
as your site is an "affiliate site" I am pretty sure the the owner of the site has already posted a press release to rank his or her site! so the submission of press release again for the same product from your end won't really count!
Press releases can help, but not that much. However, if you really feel like using press releases, make sure that you don't waste your time and money purchasing low-quality ones. If you're going to do it, do it wisely. Invest your money in the best.
A good press release for converting is a lot about timing.
You can have a press release for a new product for Christmas in early December and make a lot of money with a good PR. Or you can put one up for a novelty item in October and get no sales. It is all about how you a Press Release to get best results.
A PR can help with SEO, but the real value is in using it for general marketing.
Sure, You are right lightningblitz.
Press Releases wont rank you on their own, If thats what you meant to ask.
Yes you can use PR, but it alone don't help you
Press releases help if you do them the right way. Make sure to pick a newsworthy topic and no article directory style crap, e.g. the site launch, add some pseudo quotes from the "CEO" of the "company", so everything looks like legit PR. Never use keyword links, just a plain URL links.
Ye they work actually. I am a vendor and have several affiliates who generate over $300 daily from a ranked press release alone.
Both targeting the product name and niche long tails work.
They do tend to lose rank after some time though.
Interesting, I've used them as part of a bigger link building program but they've not seemed to make a big impact at any point, I'd love to know more about the guys ranking sites just with press releases!
When something is not popular does not mean it doesn't work.Press releases work but you need backlinks to them rank.Press release is just another parasite page you can use.
Press Release always workout because its pure white hat method
As far as I know PRs are no longer that viable for ranking, affiliate or otherwise. I'd love to find a way to do so though since I like writing them.
It's not effective since no follow links don't help you in terms of SEO. But they are still effective in terms of traffic if you know answers to questions like how, where and when.
Separate names with a comma.
