They are just un-educated on what "e-software" actually is and that most of it is garbage. Imers "convince" people they need it or it is a really great product. E.g: If someone told you that for $14.97 you could learn to build an awesome media rig in just 5 days for half the price of what it would normally be, would you buy if you got the mindset from the seller that all information your buying for $14.97 is useful? It's also not thousands people spend millions annually on e-products.

the higher the cost the more perceived value. i guess the idea of a education and capitalist society has permiated the majority of the populations minds. they go about IM like a degree, or a real business. lots of money required for return. people unfamiliar with real IMers don't realize if you know where to look (cough BHW cough) you can find people who are more community oriented. like those who share info on other subjects for free on the web

Why people are stupid goes far beyond just internet marketing. However internet marketing is the best example of it. It is the best example because it drives almost entirely off of the main reason for stupidity which is the formula:

    Ignorance + Laziness + Greed = Failure

It is fact that over 85% of this world is of "average" intelligence, meaning an IQ of anywhere from 85 to 97. You couple that with a profound disrespect for education, and a desire to get everything the "easy way", and you have what is known as the "masses". People who could never thrive in a truly free market because they will themselves to be useless. They have "dreams" as opposed to ambition, and they are usually quite happy with their humdrum daily lives and dead end jobs because those things require less attention, thinking and work.

Now that the internet has become a huge part of culture the world over these people have easy access to the education they missed as youngsters, some of the hard working people take this and milk it for all it's worth, but the majority simply take it for granted and want everything the easy way. People feel that a software or product is the answer to their lack of work ethic or knowledge.

In the end it ends up boiling down to self discipline, which is what these people lack more so than education, because if they had self discipline they would in turn have ambition to be something more than a couch potato, they would have more ambition than settling for a wack girl/boyfriend and their misbegotten, stupid rambunctious children. They care more about getting laid or "feeling good" then they do about being good.

The cycle is thus repeated because being a numbnuts they can't properly educate their children or encourage them to do great things in life, so the children grow to be just as stupid and useless as their parents. And that is why people are stupid.

Hope that helped answer your question!

As for internet markerters being stupid, well that is just par for the course. The lazy dumb people think working for yourself at home is a "dream job" and sit at the pc with a slack jawed stupid look on their face until they log into facebook or youtube and waste the day away doing that. Then when their mac donalds unemployment checks run out, reality quickly sets in and they have to go back to work in the real world.

If only people knew that real internet marketing requires years of 16 hour work days, and the equivalent of reading war and peace 3 times a week they would have worked harder in school to be a doctor or lawyer, something far easier and more stable.

The answer to your question is yes, speaking from personal experience. When I started IM at a very young age in comparison to the majority of IMers I had zero startup. I earned my first few thousand dollars as a freshman in highschool with zero money put into IM products. Making way more money today with literally zero e-books or IM software purchases. Granted I have purchased traffic, backlinks, and web domains, but that is a different subject. The only thing an IMer really would buy WITHOUT being considered uneducated (about the IM world) in my eyes would be a major software like Scrapebox or SEnuke. That being because these softwares have the potential to earn more money than they cost to buy in the long run.

I dunno, some ebooks are gold, some are crap. That's a whole big thing I wont get into.

As for software I always see people posting "$1,000 to invest what BH/IM software is the best?"

My answer is that it would be the software that you need. If you're making money you undoubtedly see the inefficient or time consuming aspects of your approach that could be automated. This is the software you need to scale up your earnings. If you're just out there buying software without already having the knowledge/small scale success IMO you are throwing away money. If you need it, you'll know.

The answer to your question is yes unless the people who buy those products are "technologically retarded" and do not understand how tha internets work.

Before I was into AM I used to call your sales pages "scam pages". Still today I'm not able to understand why people buy my shit.
