Hey guys, so I have been though quite a journey this last year. I've focussed on killer content and SEO, while also working hard with social media & blog commenting, ect...

My problem is that I'm not making money :( it seems like no matter how hard I work, I am not making money, or enough to keep this up for much longer.

Do people actually make money still promoting Clickbank offers, or, is it just vendors that keep saying "no, the sky isn't falling, ur just not doing it right"?

I have drip campaigns, (so email marketing is covered) placement at 10 on Google and hundreds of targeted visitors coming to my website daily., from social media websites, organic search and even dabbled in PPC. I cannot make this work for me.

I get between 2-300 unique, super targeted visits a day, what does it take to make profit?

Is it only me? Or, are other people struggling as much as myself? Please help give me some motivation that it is actually possible to make an income from Clickbank!

If you are getting 300 'unique super targeted' visits a day FROM tier 1 countries and IF your pre-selling is being done right, yet you are not making sales, then the problem would lie in the product you are promoting.

2-300 unique targeted visitors a day is enough to convert, check out the chosen domain name, make sure you would buy the product you are promoting. As Mancard487 mentioned, the real problem may be the product. Good luck

Thanks for the tips guys. Going to keep testing things and hope things start working better, thanks for the motivation! I needed that. I'm trying to promote too many products, I think.

Just a question, would you try to make it look like you're just promoting one product? Like hide any links to other product reviews? Maybe it looks like I'm singing the praises of too many offers?

I'm shooting for a authority site, so I give away lots of free information, maybe that is actually hurting my efforts?

Anyways we learn pretty quick that it's not easy, or else everybody would be doing it. At least with traffic there's literally no end to testing and getting it right at some point, it's just a matter of time :)

I said this in another thread about CB a few months back, I had a steady stream coming from CB for a couple of years without lifting a finger, but now the particular product is dated so they dropped the price, and now the commissions are like 3 bucks. At the time I built the site around the one product because I didn't know any better, I think it's better to find a general niche with finer tuned sub-niches supporting it, and if one dries up a bit, you still have the broad category. Gotta find that balance between not enough products and too many as you're suggesting.

As for your site, there's so many crappy products on CB, but what's worse is some of the websites of the products look like they were built 15 years ago. With so many people buying from their phones now, unoptimized sites must hurt conversions some. If you're getting good traffic, why not try and swap out the products with more up to date offers in the same niche (but, different program)?

You are right about this. There is more mobile traffic then desktop traffic on the internet.

Yes, those are some really good points you make. Almost half my traffic is mobile, so will have a closer look at the vendor's sales copy and make sure what I'm promoting is 100% optimized for mobile traffic.

Went ahead and removed my reviews menu, so it doesn't look like I'm promoting so many products, but still have everything intact so I can drive traffic directly to those offers. That way, I think it doesn't look so spammy, when it fact it is, haha.

I am trying to look at it unbiased and put myself in my potential customers shoes, if that makes sense. I also understand the need to build trust and authority for a really good long-term strategy.

My website is already in a broad health niche, so I think I can get away with many different products relating to this niche. However, when I first started out I made that same mistake and tried just promoting one single offer, it did well, that is... Until it was removed from CB altogether. At least it wasn't a complete waste because I just 301 to a similar offer.

Luckily for me, this whole time I've been collecting emails, so now have other avenues to market too. if I was to start over today, that would be my number one goal. List build for targeted people that I can keep convincing to buy, over and over.

Is that a real question? Come on man... These type of questions need to be stopped.

Yes, people are still making money on CB.

Hey I respect your opinion, it's just that there must be something that's going wrong for my own journey to make bank with Clickbank, that's all.

I come to this forum quite often and see many people having issues, that's why I ask this question. I guess successful people wouldn't need help from a forum too often...

Thanks for your bluntness, that resonates with me and helps me to see that I'm definitely doing something wrong then!

However, I don't think any questions "need to be stopped" I respectfully disagree with this statement, but can also see where you're going with it.

You could also take a look for other ways to monetize your site beside clickbank, there probably is more than one way to do it. I don't know how specific your site is but if I was you I would take a look at offervault (big affiliate site) and see if they have someone that fits your needs

I get it that you are having problems making money with CB. Sometimes things just don't work out the way you want. I would suggest you to take a look at CPA offers and try monetizing your website using that. Maybe CB isn't a good fit for the visitors of your site. Go to offervault and try looking for some good CPA offers related to your niche.

You could also try changing vendors. Sometimes it is just bad landing page or some other factor..

CB looks to dead for a person starting out. From what I see the peak of CB sales was around 2010-2012 and was all down hill from there.
There are still some good products with top 75% commission, but the gravity #'s lowered the longer they have sat. Previous FREE marketing strategies used on websites like craigslist, youtube, facebook, reedit, etc. seem to be in-effective, obsolete or irrelevant in the market place. A person would have to invest to much time and money to make a sustainable profit. The people who still do this probably have been doing it for years. There are better marketing/sales opportunities in 2016

I do agree with your general overview.
I feel CB, being one of the first and the easiest marketplace to start with is facing lately a sort of natural OVERLOAD of competition no matter what source of traffic is being used. Looks like this big highway is more and more packed with arising traffic Jam! I feel that 5 yrs ago a newbie would have made easier bucks via twitter or YT...
Now, the rules are much stricter than ever, ads cost and constant arise of people "joked" by gurus about unrealistic Formula "IM = Fast & Easy Cash" made the rest.
Plus, today's accessibility to information made people much more critical and less keen to jump into the first "average good video / or ads", since you can find excellent information about everything for FREE eveywhere...

One missing thing to me thoug... What are " There are better marketing/sales opportunities in 2016" you mean?

exactly. Coinbase isn't what it use to be. A few areas of making money that I like to focus is bitcoin, not mining, but investing every time its value crashes. You barley have to watch it for long term gains. A lot of people jump out of btc when there is a scare and the value quickly lowers and steadily goes back up. You have to ignore all the chatter of people, and know when to jump or not. If you invest a lot there is a lot of profit.

Recently been looking into ebooks sales as it is still a hot market. Still doing digging on that. Could be my next avenue, It's got me excited.

My main focus is arbitrage sales on ebay and amazon, as well as drop shipping. Easy to get into, good money to be made if your willing to dig for it. There are a lot of players in this game, so it is competitive, but it just takes time and focus to find your niche(s). There is a lot of helpful information spread across the internet including this forum to get started that actually works.
