^^ $100 for a full year on 30 niche related directory sites, many of which are pr 1-3. Worth the investment? It's for my authority site.

If these directories are shitty and with no real traffic it means zero.
I own both general and niche directories.

If directories have custom scripts, no full of ads and have some good traffic, then go for it.
Anyway $100/year seems cheap, so the quality may be the same.

Directories are almost always a waste of time, money, etc.

I mean, why the hell would anyone use a directory in this day in age... That's why search engines were invented...

Also, Paid Directories, with a few exceptions like BOTW and Yahoo directory are generally speaking more likely to get you penalized (Google has mass de-valued almost all directories) than help you. Directories offer very little if any link value or traffic, so you're much better off putting your cash towards something that actually works.

Keep in mind, a high PR directory does not mean it's good... Just that it has a lot of links pointing to it, it's not really a sign of quality.

--> I would absolutely advise against using any mass directory submission service. I've seen this kill rankings time and time again. <--

Thanks for the help. I've been searching "(insert niche here) directory" and just looking at all the free ones that have a decent pr and daily traffic >600 uvs. I generally try to stay away from mass submissions of anything. Thanks for saving me some cash!
