Are old twitter accounts better than new ones?

I have a new twitter account, 2021, organically grown with 2k followers, it's following 1k itself. I mostly retweet / like tweets and I got 3 to 7 likes / retweets on the tweets

I want to start posting my own content on it, but I'm wondering if its better to use a 2008 account and grow it for a month instead?

Because if 2008 account and 2021 account, if they both had same amount of followers in same niche, would 2008's tweet be shown first ?

I wouldn't say you get it better reach but you'll more likely have fewer restrictions using an old account.

older accounts probably get away with a little more than accounts made last week.

I'd go with the older account personally.

You are better off with a newer account as the system can detect that an old account have recently become very active and will investigate it. This will result in a ban so not worth it in my opinion.

Twitter is a different from FB and Insta you can use both new and old one without facing any problem.
