Hey guys - I seriously love this forum!

Is MS's rank tracker accurate?? I use a browser specifically searching for my keyword campaigns and use it for only this rather than just general browsing..

What I'm confused a bout is it says it's #6 - but when I search 'outside' of Market Samurai it's like #15?

How do Google's different search results - and should I just trust MS??

    Thanks for your help team!!

google shows different results for different countries.
for example I search manually for a keyboard and its ranked #5 but then I use a US proxy and its #9 or a UK proxy and its #11.

dunno why, and maybe Im wrong but Im pretty sure its the case.

I guess they are quite accurate, but last few weeks MS has been very buggy for me.

    Cheers

I agree with this, I'm still under my refund grace period and if my mind doesn't change I will be requesting a refund. I have found that lately market samurai is really buggy and inaccurate.

Strange that you should mention that... As a matter of fact NO... (Or they don't agree with Google's Keyword Tool at least)... I dunno who to believe anymore...XD

Market samurai's competition analysis is accurate but their rank tracker is somewhat broken.

No one service doesn't show 100% accuracy, so I use a few: semrush and rank tracker

They are somewhat accurate, the biggest problem is how damn buggy the software is. I really can't emphasize that more. The software is buggy as hell.

I actually wrote in to the creators of MS to complain and they took the time and energy to respond thoughtfully. Although the basic answer was, MS isn't designed for "heavy" usage.

If you are tracking a few rankings, no big deal. Anything more than 20 or so per project royally screws things up.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same sh1ty bugs too, when trying to run a massive keyword project.

In addition, for the last few weeks the entire system is very slow and doesn't show accurate data on the Rank tracker, it hasn't been always like that, only last few weeks.

Did you try to use other softwares rather then MS? I am currently using the manual Majestic SEO+G Keyword+ G searches, but I don't have a tool right now that can really measure the amount of traffic for an exact match.
