Are keywords for which online shops are ranking good to go ?

In the MNS era, a lot of micro niche sites were outranking "the big guys" amazon, walmart, polyvore, shopstyle etc. for a lot of keywords. I am referring to keywords for which mainly online shops with 0 backlinks are ranking, I believe that's because of the huge domain authority, but the particular page does not have links and it's usually with not good on page seo, only title for the products and image, a lot of products are usually listed. Most of them does not even have the keyword in the exact order 1 time on the page. See attached images from Market Samurai for the keywords of this type.




Personally I think this keywords can be defined as "easy' and they are good to go, because I have seen a lot of micro niche sites ranking for that type of keywords. Also I have read several threads here on the forum where a lot of members were saying these are their favorite type of keywords and it's easy to rank on 1st page. But most of the thread I've seen are from 2010/11 and the situation have changed since then.

So I would highly appreciate some advices.
