My IRL job has branched out into VOIP/SIP based phone systems, and I've been given the green light to offer it throughout the US, and the first thought I had is my fellow BH'ers, but I'm not sure if anyone is interested in it.

The product is still being fine tuned, but before I actually even consider working on IM specific deals, I wanted to know if anyone would actually be interested in this service?

    A few details about it:
-Options for both hardware setups and no-hardware setups
Basically, we can offer you a simple router that you plug into your existing home/buisiness network, from there you can connect regular phones to the router or hook the router up to a wall jack and make your entire house live with that service instead of your old phone service, completely replacing your land line, OR, we can offer a "softphone" service, which is basically software oriented (kind of like skype) to run on a computer, using a headset to call

-Tons of neat little features with the technology. Connecting multiple phone numbers, blocking numbers (stopping telemarketers), forwarding certain calls to another phone [such as your cell etc] videocalling, computer based caller ID (phone rings, little box pops up telling you whos calling), and a ton more I dont want to list atm

-CHEAP rates, from both local and overseas. Compared the current lineup of prices to vonage etc, and were easily beating them out. I've been looking at international rates, and i'd say about 60% of our current customer base is using this service simply because the international rates are -very- cheap compared to anything else I've looked at

-cheap extra numbers (normal numbers and 1-800's) you can get new numbers and even 1800 numbers REALLY cheap, I thought this would be of interest to anyone that works with phone verifications alot

would this be something worthy of me adjusting to suit IMers or does no one really care about it? Looking for some input.

I'll also most likely be offering some cheap (1 dollar month) discounts as "review copies" and maybe even a few free 1-2 months to try it out for some if people are actually interested

If you can somehow integrate 1-800 + some kind of agent then I'd probably be pretty interested.

Depending on pricing I may be able to refer a few more potential clients your way.

glad to hear it, were already offering a referal discount to local customers, I'm sure I could integrate it to our national service once we get the ball rolling on it. I've sent you some information to see what you think of what we have right now.
