If they are relevant for your niche they can drive some traffic and you can get a little link juice from them.. most often I use them to get new customers which works pretty goog from time to time.

Might work for Low Competition Keywords but Overdoing it might kill your Money site.

Good Ratio of Do-Follow and no follow Blog Comments on Niche related Articles should work.

Only No Follow will not take you anywhere in SERPs. These days Blog Comments and Forum Posting are done with intention to Drive traffic.

Don't you want clicks on your site through those links? Then, every sort of link is worthless for you. But, yes I guess forum posting is still the key to sales.

Yes, both works well if done wisely. Get mixture of nofollow and d0f0llow links to look more natural.

Totally works, especially if you are not spamming. It can also drive a lot of targeted traffic to your site, seriously don't underestimate that.

There are still a few good do follow forums that are worth linking from. Most are in the internet marketing niche (which many people are into). So they are worth finding. The real value of forum marketing comes from traffic, but it doesn't seem that people are into that now. I don't use profile links though some do.

Blog links can be crappy and no-follow, but they are the quickest or "lay-up" way to get useful links fast. Just use a SEO toolbar that helps you note the authority strength of the link, especially the PA or TF of the page.
