Flippa has legit apps/websites for sale but you've got to do your research and use a bit of common sense. Some people may be looking for a quick sale and lower their asking price, but severely underpriced listings are a bit of a giveaway. Who would sell a site/app that is legitimately making $500 profit a month for 1 or 2 thousand?

Screenshots of traffic and earnings can also be faked as well, so you need to be wary of anything that doesn't seem realistic. Having said that, there are people who seriously undervalue their sites/apps and there are people who will sell them a bit cheaper to get a quick sale.

Flippa's hit and miss in my opinion, but trust your gut and research absolutely everything you can before committing so a sale. Talk to the seller and gauge their level of knowledge on what they're selling and try and get them to slip up when giving you information.
