My understanding is that all sites ranked via PBNs will eventually be penalized.
As such, it would be immoral to sell those sites as flips. Is my understanding correct?
If you can point me to this research, I'd like to read it.
There are PBNs and then there are professional PBNs.
I wasn't talking actual facts.
It's also a general saying that blackhat seo is for short term churn and burn projects and whitehat is for serious, long term projects. Is this not right?

White hat seo people say black hat is dangerous, black hatters say white hat takes too long. I'd disagree with blackhat is purely for churn and burn though, people saying that are still thinking back 10 years when you spammed a zillion links and hit page 1.
So what you're saying is, hypothetically, if I knew what I was doing, then I could be comfortable with flipping sites which I built up via blackhat SEO. Any and all penalites the site might receive would be due to my inexperience/mistakes rather than the fact that I was using blackhat SEO techniques?
I'm saying there are a lot of sites on places like Flippa which are using blackhat seo, so yes you can do it too.
I mean I know I can. I'm just not morally comfortable with selling something that I know will not work in a few months. So if I hide the footprints and know my stuff in general, those sites could theoretically live a long life?
