Yes, through eBay, Stubhub, etc. If you're willing to put up some money and a little patience, you can do very well.

Do you use any forums to pick what tickets you're going to buy though? I've been doing it all on mine own and figured there's gotta be a forum somewhere out there for it

No, actually, I have newsletters from multiple ticket companies that I receive on a day to day basis. I check what's going on sale and base my purchase on past sold amounts for that act. If I think the artist is worth my time, I'll purchase a hand full of tickets.

    Check this site out:
    Code:
    presalepasswordinfo.com
I use them a lot for seeing what's going on and for presale codes. (I'm not affiliated with the site, I just use them on a daily basis)

I make more with concerts usually. Baseball and other sporting events are tough to make a lot of quick money. They require more money up front if you want good season tickets to resell. Not saying it's a waste of time or anything. There are several out there who profit well from it. One perk is that you don't have to worry too much about presale codes every so often as you get that seat for the season.

I have tools to buy on Stubhub, ticketsnow and many other secondary marketplaces. If interested, we can negotiate a business plan through PM.

I know that that is a good business. Never done it myself but I know guys who do. Even sold me tickets for 50% more than they payed. I never really got into it because there aren't many events where I live.

Most states are fine. Some states you have to be a certain distance from the venue to sell. If you sell online... piece of cake. NYC seems to be the strictest since you supposed to get a ticket broker license.
