Twitter FB IG Tiktok Snapchat are all specifically cited as being allowed
Where did i state any of those in my post??

An essential rule to follow is that Amazon does not allow link cloaking. On the other hand, Reddit does not allow users to post affiliate links directly.

Better stay on the safe side - create a simple post on the WP site, and embed product widgets, product review articles, etc.

Or if you want to link directly/redirect, you can use a script that would clean/hide referrer info, like - https://github.com/joshp23/YOURLS-rscrub
And host that on your site.
Hey thanks for sharing, have you tested to see if Amazon catches these? I really appreciate it.

It's not banned on Reddit bue people usually don't like it and it can be seen as a red flag by the administration, particularly if your account is new or from certain countries.

About 2 months ago, Amazon announced that it would no longer count hits and gains from Reddit.

There's been many reports of people getting their Amazon associates accounts closed down for sharing on Reddit

That's why it wasn't closed. If you had your own subreddit and sumbited it to Amazon, you could share without any problems. But as I just mentioned, Amazon no longer counts Reddit hits.

I want to send you a private message but I think I can't cuz I'm knew. I really want to figure out this cloaking stuff, looks like you are too.

If you want to work with Amazon and Reddit, you need to have your blog where the traffic from Reddit is coming from before going to Amazon. Direct links on Reddit are not allowed and there is a high risk of getting banned. Twitter/Reddit method was allowed for some time, but I know some people who were banned after years of doing that. The explanation from Amazon was something like: "You need to be an owner of the site from which the traffic comes from or an owner of the subreddit where the links were posted." Amazon also have Influencer Program and there are different rules for them regarding posting on social media.

You should buy your own domain and redirect it to your affiliate link. The domain will eventually get banned, so you will constantly need to cycle through them.

Hey can you break this down for me a little more, sorry I am just figuring this stuff out. So upset that Amazon has done this.

You can solve it simply.
Create a landing page using Twitter post and add there your Amazon link.
Twitter links can shared on the subreddit without any problem.
do i need to put twitter as a promoting website in amazon associate ?
