So ive been searching for a company to help on accepting credit cards online as im starting my big project.

Problem is that it seems that companies like bluesnap (plimus before), fastspring and clicksure have records of scamming people before!

So i was thinking of avoiding paypal and clickbank to work with other companies but every day it seems that i just cant find a legit company to help on processing credit cards online.

Would you use paypal or clickbank? I want to grow this project really big so I want a legit company to handle the payments and im not sure if i can trust paypal or clickbank on this regard.

    Any input people?

No they're not all scams. Stripe is good, but you need to be technical.

No. Send me a message about your business and I will get you in touch with a guy who does this. I've worked with him in other areas...straight shooter. He has been trying to hire me to sell processing for him, but I don't feel like it is the right business for me.

Ohh and by the way, another problem is that some processors like Authorize.net only accepts us/ca/uk businesses which unfortunately im not. Ohh and i cant use stripe as they dont accept international companies. (I tried regisyering and all but they needed a US tax code for my business eventhough im not in the US at all!!!

2Checkout should solve your issues for CC and they also handle Paypal for you if you want.

2checkout wont accept my business. Ive been emailing back and forth with them in the last week and they simply wont let me in. The same goes with avangate. ( I even tried on applying 2 times with each!)

Authorize.net wont accept me as im not based in the US :/ (im Mexican!!)

Gee, 2Co is usually pretty reasonable and I knew they worked with Mexico. Too bad Stripe does not work for you as they are real good for CCs only.

    What about this?

Form an LLC in the States, get an EIN# and use that as the business for Stripe?

You could probably buy a shelf LLC/Corp even to get it all done very quickly.

Actually 1 company suggested me that last week but I guess I would lose a lot more time and money that route :/

Another problem is taxes, I mean, I don't even know if I would get taxed twice lol.

Anyway, just sent you a pm man. thanks!

Well they got sued for false testimonies and stuff, though Plimus was sued and not BlueSnap, its still the same thing.

By far the best is Stripe! You definitely need to check it out.

Roy, probably you are scared abour bluesnap (plimus) or any other company because you do a google research: "company name Scam", most companies will have some "scam" complaints on some websites even the big companies. if you are doing everything right with your business and not dark stuff then why you need to worry.

    Good luck.

International is a big problem. I know that many nations don't hardly use CCs online due to high CC fraud. So if you are in one of those nations you are kinda screwed. Eastern Europe has a lot of these issues.

I have never used 2CO but heard good things about them, shame they wont accept you.

Regarding stripe I use them and they are very good - I know you said you couldnt sign up but have you tried contacting them directly - when I originally signed up my app got declined but when I called them they helped be get it all set up despite the original issues.....
