When you apply to CPA networks, do they check your websites whois info? does the domain age matter?
I can not say whether they check the domain age or whois, etc but I can tell you onething... Some of the networks don't care how new or fresh is your website as long as it looks promising and has some good content. Also, your approval depends on what you tell them for the question - "How are you driving in the traffic for their offers".
I got accepted with CPA*Lead, Az00gle, CPAFlash and few other networks with just 3 weeks old blogs. I even know that there are some people in here who got accepted without a website!
Exacto. Everything depends on what you are gonna tell them about the traffic to their offers.
Tell them you're going to run PPC direct linking straight to merchant offers so your website won't be really that applicable. It can be new [like 1-2 days old], and it can be .info
And have more that 1 website [2-3 simple WP blogs will do]. Tell them that you do 90% direct linking, and 10% of your PPC campaigns to landing pages.
And if you want 99% approval rate give them a call, even if they rejected you initially. Not all networks are going to accept you the first time around for various reasons and calling them and answering professionally to their questions will do the trick.
LOL I sent them to someone else's site and got approved...
I aced the phone interview... Use the search function to find a thread that tells you what to say during the interview process. I used the advice from that thread to get accepted to every network that called me.
Just to add... Don't just bluntly say - ' I run PPC Campaigns to promote offers". Recently, I found out that every reputed network you are applying for, don't accept the one word or one phrase answer like that. Learn a bit about PPC, like what it is all about and then Lie!
and if you just say running ppc, some of the bigger networks will even ask to see a screen shot for proof. Also if you tell them you are doing media buys they may ask to see a site of where you have one.
Oh and regarding the domain age, I think it doesn't hurt to have an older one you can go to go to aged-domain-finder.c0m/search.php under auction type you can pick buy now and name your price. I have picked up great domain names for $5 also be sure and check the domain on whois.sc to be sure there are not a lot of other domains associated with the buyer. The reason is the am check the history of the who is and you don't want to be associatd with some that has fraud in there history, especially if your trying to do so now, lol
Separate names with a comma.
