Not sure if they have apprenticeships overseas, but you're basically just getting paid to learn whilst doing some work related to your field. I think you have to be aged 16-19 to be eligible for this.

I've never really been fond of working for someone else, but I thought this would be a good opportunity since it's in software development. I'd be using PHP, Java, Oracle, HTML, Wordpress and more. Hopefully, I could do some networking also (will be in the media part of Manchester).

So since I've never applied for a job before, I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some advice to increase my chances of getting an interview or something? I have websites currently running on Wordpress, and I have a bit of experience with Python and HTML so I think this will already put me ahead of most other applicants.

I'm going to brush up on my coding using W3Schools but that's all I can think of.

    Appreciate any input :D
