Today Google has changed their logo and placed Apples on it.

If you go to the Google homepage, you?ll notice the logo above along with an animated falling Apple. Google created this logo to celebrate the birth date of Sir Isaac Newton. Newton is famous for his three laws of motion, which I will list below.

    • Newton?s First Law states that an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an external force.
    • Newton?s Second Law states that an applied force on an object equals the rate of change of its momentum with time.
    • Newton?s Third Law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Google always has a reason they include things in their logo. Why is an logo with a falling Apple on the Google home page?

Well, that?s because a falling apple from a tree inspired him to formulate his theory of gravitation.

I've found this partical google's creative in subj very annoying (unexpected moving object is smth that always catches at least some of your attention, and I dont need that distraction, thank you G). Bad bad decision from G.

Also, if you are a FFox user, they hide all smaller links (like "Advertising Programs" link, etc), and only show those links after you move your mouse. Since you dont see your target first, your first mouse move is untargeted. Then link shows up, and finally you could move your mouse to the link. Extremely annoying. Who's bright minds came up with such an improvement, which nobody has asked for

Google never fascinated me with the looks of their UI (besides G Maps), but at least it was not that annoying ...

    Just ranting out ....

All I do is just hover over the image with the arrow when google does something funky with their logo and up pops the reason for the theme.

BTW, is there anyone who has not clicked on the "I'm feeling lucky" button while it's blank?

Props to Cablekid for pointing this out earlier. :D

If you make your browserwindow smaller and shake it left and right, you can shake all the apples out.
