Anyone know where I can get free or cheap domains from?
Have you tried dot tk's?
i also heard of a way to get domains for free. There is an ebook about it or something. If anyone knows of it please share...
I have a daily list I send out, of expired .com domains, so you can get them for $7.99 through GoDaddy and flip them.
Don't know of anyplace you can get them for free!
I prefer namecheap
If you want .com/.net/.org's then you gotta pay for them I use namecheap.com!!!
For free one's I still remember those early days when I used co.cc as they are the best free domain providers!
Namecheap looks good-- thanks for that!
Is it easy to point the domains over to other hosting servers? Just curious if NameCheap is easy to work with.
99 cent domains at 1and1 for .us
netfirms are also good. You have some coupons which make them around 4.99 USD for the .com domain.
Thats not bad but where are you getting the coupons?
Will check out
Yes, you can do that
Namecheap is one of the easiest... and they are doing a revamp of their site so it will only get better
Thx but namecheap is quite expensive.. I stated free or cheap..lol
Godaddy often gives away $1 .com's wait for it. They'll probably do it in Christmas
PS if u can't afford $8 for a domain maybe you should be looking into something else. Or just use something like blogger or web 2.0's
depending on if you are doing more than one registration id obviously advise you to use fake details and yes you do have dns control over the domain so can set up hosting etc.
The only down side is they email you with "tips" of how to improve your online presence which was a comical read for me, but other than that its A+
