No i never used those methods. So i dont know much about this.
 
I've seen so many embarrassing ads thanks to this method. It's usually guys trying to shamelessly earn a couple dollars.
With a bad translation, they're not gonna get not even that.
 
I’ve done it with success when I used to do free + shipping. I would never do it for a product or company I truly cared about though.

If its worth your time investment, its probably worth finding a native or professional to translate it for you
