I have an Adult related (Porn) blog that I have created about a Month ago. Getting about 1500 unique visitors a day. Around 5,000 pageviews a day.

I've tried different CPA offers and some affiliate products but nothing is converting at all. I am trying Pimproll at the moment. Sent them between 1500 and 2000 visitors without a single sale. All of my traffic is targeted.

I'm now going to focus on making money from my traffic via CPM ads, CPC, etc. 15% of my traffic is clicking on my ads. But nobody is taking any action after the click.

I applied to Adultadworld 3 days ago. Have yet to receive a reply. Getting annoyed. When I applied to Pimproll, it took them a week to approve me!

Anybody have any experience with Adultadworld? I've read mixed reviews. What do they pay per CPM? And is each impression only for a unique visitor? Or if my visitor browses around to 5 different pages of my site and a CPM ad loads 5 differnt times, does that count as 1 or 5 impressions? On average, what can I expect to receive per click from the CPC ads?

Any other Adsense type of site that you recommend that caters to the Adult niche? Any other ideas to make money from this traffic?

Never heard of them. Went to their website and it is all French. Can't understand any of it. But I could have used Google translator to decipher it. I didn't bother because I searched Google and couldn't find much information on them. What is your experience with them?

Still have not heard back from Adultadworld. It has been 4 days now. Their website specifically says that I would receive a reply within 72 hours. I sent them an Email first thing this morning (12 hours ago) asking about my application status. Still have not heard back from them. I have no experience working with them and I already have a negative impression of Adultadworld.

All adult ad networks suck without exception and you will make MUCH more money going direct to affiliate programs.

Pimproll is an awesome program and one of the few professional outfits left in porn. Hit up one of their reps or post on the support board (pornosells.com) and they will help you set things up for conversions.

You have realize that conversions are poor throughout the adult world because of piracy / tube sites these days.

That's what I thought. My conversions are horrible. 1500 uniques a day on average over the past 3 or 4 days with approx. 15% clicking on my ads/offers and $0 to show for it. Other than that, things are going great!

At first, I was looking for something that would give me a recurring income. Such as a Monthly membership that would pay me a commission every Month from the same customer. Get a customer once, get paid a commission from that customers subscription every Month for as long as that customer continues to renew their membership. Pimproll fit the bill.

You are right. I should talk to one of their reps. I did check out the pornosells support board. Didn't find much on there and was surprised at how few topics there were and how little activity there was on the forum. I'm basically promoting the sites that caters to many things. I'd be surprised if many of their niche sites convert. Myself, I wouldn't want to pay a Monthly membership for a site that caters only to one thing. I'd much rather pay a Monthly membership for a site that caters to many different things. But Ithat is just my opinion. Maybe these sites do convert. Haven't checked out their forum in awhile. Maybe I'll do that.

Since my traffic sucked for conversions but are taking action by clicking on ads, I thought that I'd try to find an adsense type of program that caters to the Adult niche.

But I just came up with a better idea. I think.

I'll do a bit of research on some high paying Adsense keywords that my adult traffic would possibly be interested in. Dating type of keywords for example. Make a mini website related to the dating keywords. Have adsense ads on it and some other offers. Divert my adult traffic to the site. Still have a very visible link going back to my Porn Blog.

Would this be against Adsense terms? My main site would be the porn blog. Make a directory called dating. pornblog dot com/dating. Have my mini site in that directory with no porn content at all. Have adsense ads on it. A link back to the main porn blog. Would that be acceptable? Or would that be against the TOS because the main site has porn on it. Or would it be better to use a subdirectory since Google considers it a totally different site? Thoughts?

    Forgot to mention.

Adultadworld's payment terms suck. Get paid once a Month on the 30th of the Month for the PREVIOUS Months earnings!

Adsense is very strict, no adult. You could send traffic to your dating blog on its own mainstream domain but you can't link back to your porn site.

Making money out of recurring as an affiliate in porn is basically dead now because surfers just don't recur any more. You're way better off going per sign up unless you have really rabid porn obsessed niche traffic.

Pornosells is a pretty much just a support blog for affiliate issues but if you post there that you want help with conversions someone should hook up with you.

It's impossible to say without looking at your sites but niche is where it's at as far as conversions go. Niche sells.

I would say the average paysite conversion these days with an OK tour and a cheap trial (especially if you're getting a 15% CTR) would be around 1:2000. A shitty sponsor will see you go 1:15000+. Adult is pretty rough these days.

Thanks for the reply! Useful info!

I'll probably make a mini dating site or some other niche site and direct all traffic to that. My sex blog is cum-get-laid dot com. if you want to get a better idea of what my site is about. I should warn you that it contains some hardcore porn content. I recently scaled back my pimproll promotions. Only have a few banners at the moment. Would a sub-domain be acceptable for my mini site even if I have no links whatsoever to my main porn site? dating.cum-get-laid dot com or would it be better to have an entirely new domain altogether? With a subdomain, I'd probably still get some type in traffic to the main sex blog.

The adsense people don't want to see their ads on any site called "cum-get-laid" lol. Spend the $3 for nicecleanandinnocentdatingsite.info. Don't risk your adsense account, they are trigger happy with the banhammer and you'll never get back in.

Yes, you are right. I'll stop being a cheap ass and I will get a separate domain. :D

Most of my Traffic cums (lol) from Twitter. I have 100 Twitter Accounts and use Tweet Attacks to run them. Each Account has a profile pic of a sexy looking woman and basically target horny guys. :)

None of my Tweets contain a single promotional link. They will soon. Pretty much all of my traffic comes from people visiting my profile page and clicking on the website link.

Would Adsense know where my traffic is coming from?

I'm sure that I'd make more from my Adult traffic by redirecting to a site with high paying adsense ads and getting paid for every click rather than relying on my users to part with some money in order for me to make commissions. What are your thoughts?

Yah, that is kind of what I thought. Even before I made this thread. When I was searching around the net, that is the kind of comments that I was reading from others. But I was also reading some positive reviews about Adultadworld and other Affiliate programs. Problem is, Adultadworld and other Adult related programs pay for referrals. I was sure that the positive reviews were fake to get people to sign up to Adult programs so that the website owner would make money from referrals.

I'm not going to bother putting adult dating banners on my site. Instead, I am going to make a new site on a new domain. It will be dating related. My traffic can easily be converted from the adult niche to the dating niche. Less than 1% of my Traffic comes from Search Engines. So, I do not have to be concerned about trying to get ranked in the search engines for my keywords. My traffic can easily be switched from my porn site to my dating site without skipping a beat. Most of my traffic comes from Twitter. So it isn't costing me a thing other than a little bit of my time.

I found some high paying Adsense keywords that I'm going to target. With 1500 unique visitors a day, I should be able to do fairly well with Adsense alone. I'll also have dating related offers. At least I can get Adsense Ads to display on a dating site and it will be acceptable where a Porn site is definitely not.

I could easily redirect my traffic to my soon to be dating site. But will Google see that all of my traffic to my dating site is being redirected from my porn site? How can I hide the referrer?

    Thanks!

I'll reply back to this thread with the results of how my traffic is converting on my dating site. And if I'm making much on Adsense. It'll take me a day or 2 to build the dating site and start referring my traffic to it. My traffic has died down to 500 a day for the past 4 days. Only because I have stopped all of my Twitter activity until I figure out how best to utilize the traffic.

I haven't replied back to your PM yet. I'll reply later. Thanks for the offer to use content from your Adult related site. You weren't able to get traffic to your site so you didn't make anything. I'm getting traffic to my site and I can't make anything. So I'm going to forget about the porn site and make a dating related site and send my traffic to that.

Just working on my dating site now. I've decided not to go the easy route and redirect all traffic from my Porn site over to the dating site. That would be stupid. Google would be able to see that my traffic is coming from a Porn site and would probably ban my account. Instead, I'll do the extra work and change every single link I have out there and have the traffic go straight to my dating site. It won't even touch my porn site.

Your site is niched (cum) .. so promoting datings, cams and such bulshits will not work well .. find paysites in your niche and promote them .. also add links in the posts ..

Well, I spent yesterday building my dating site and redoing all links so that it points to my new dating site. The dating site took me a little over an hour to do from start to finish. It is a Wordpress Blog. I'll add some more to the site in the next couple of hours. Links to some more offers, etc. Just wanted to get the site up and running with some adsense ads so that I could get busy changing all links to go to my new site. I could have taken the easy way out and redirected all traffic from my Porn site to my dating site. I was actually going to do that. But common sense finally sunk in and I figured that Google would see that all my traffic was coming from a Porn site and they would probably ban my account once it starts to make lots of cash.

I'm done with the Porn site. My traffic was mainly horny guys that are interested in Porn. If the horny guys want to get some, then they'll need a date! So, my new dating site will be what they need. :D

Just waiting for Adsense to show relevant ads. My Home page shows adsense ads for WP design, website design, wordpress hosting, and those "Advertise on Google - Get $75 in Free Ad Credits" ads.

My CTR is actually 2%! Crappy CPC. Getting anywhere between .05 to .25 a click. My CTR should be much higher when Google starts showing relevant ads. MY CPC will be much higher as well. Relevant ads are showing on the actual blog post page. Unless my traffic goes off my main home page, those relevant ads will not be seen. Just have to be patient. It may take a few days before relevant ads start showing. If you have some tricks for speeding up this process, please share.

Here is my conclusion so far. Keep in mind that 1 days worth of results is not much data to determine anything.

2% of horny guys are interested in Wordpress Hosting and getting $75 in Ad credits from Google! Who knew! Learn something new everyday .....:rolleyes:

Edit: This is strange. The keyword phrase that I am targeting my adsense ads for is: online-dating-service. My domain name even has those words in it. Getting irrelevant ads to my homepage only. But I am getting very targeted and relevant ads when I add that phrase to the end of the url. Eg. www dot online-dating-service dot com/?online-dating-service

Hi MikeLac! I checked your site and noticed that you have mostly usa/canada traffic- very nice! Just add pop up banner from getiton (adultfriendfinder) and send more traffic to your site. I have about 30% ctr on this pop up and $0.19 per click as affiliate commission. If you interested- this is statistic from getiton TOTALS 105007 44261(unique ip) 6700M, 190F (free sign ups) 373(orders) $11667.65 $1805.00 $2028.88 76.4% (my share) $8748.26 (my earnings)
I have site - not so good as your but enough to convert visitors to $$ illustratedstory dot com
