The only beats I have ever owned are the Studio Beats which I received for my 16th birthday. I have to tell you that the sound quality is phenomenal and they are the best £270 I've ever had spent on me. You can hear every detail of songs and the bass is fantastic for ear phones and the noise-cancelling is bloody amazing.

The downsides? Pricing & the fact that they require batteries to use.

Thanks, yeah I would love them, but I have heard they leak as hell, other than that they seem great;)

No problem and I believe they only seem to leak when you have them taken off of your head, but if they're on your head they don't leak too bad if you don't have to volume up a ridiculous amount ^_^

    I have them myself.

I had $20 replicas before them, which are not that much different, that's really all I can compare them against.

Nothing compared to my V-Moda crossfades, but headphones are in a different league

Don't get any Beats. They're all marked up at least $100. The Beats studio's sound are equivalent to $70 Sony headphones. If you want me to find you a good set of cans that will actually have balanced sound and be worth your money, just post here or PM me with your budget and what you're going to be using them for and genres. Trust me, I have over $1k worth of audio equipment within arms reach from me, and I've used beats for a few weeks.
