Has anyone tried "bandit signs"? Those are the yard signs you see that try to push mortgages or whatever. I know I have seen a thread or two on here before, but I'm wondering if anyone is currently using them successfully?

I have found them for $1.00 each without stakes and found stakes on egay for about $0.40 each. So with $1.40 into each one, I'm wondering what kind of results I might get.

Anyone have any luck with these?

    John

they work, only problem is you have to pretty much illegally put them on public property, unless you have highly visible private property that will let you post them. The results vary, it really depends on the service your offering. I'd be interested in seeing how the conversion is for something other than home sales, contractors and mortgage people. Let me know how you make out, I'd say go for it since it is such a small investment..

Laws vary from state to state and county to county. I am currently getting started with my second phase. First phase was low cost initial testing. Test phase paid for itself in 5 days. MMMmmmm I love blackhatworld.com! Good luck run it till they shut you down.

When steel prices were really high in 2008 or 2009, I did this locally with "Paying up to $500 for your old junk cars", along with offers to purchase gold, silver, and catalytic converters. "Paying up to" was small text, for obvious reasons, and I would swing by and buy cars for $200-$350, take them to a scrap yard and scrap them for the "unprepared steel" cost and would probably profit about $1500 a week all together, after I paid a rotation of 4 guys to do just about everything for me. Easy money. When the cost of scrap lowered, I bought even more cars (no competition) and started going to junkyards buying a bunch of car parts in bulk and selling them as used on eBay.
