    Hi!

We've been getting lots of requests for training clients how to do their own SEO due to them not being able to spend very much or because they have been burnt by rip off merchants.

Has anyone gone down this route?

Is there money to be made, whether its a 1 to 1 or a group workshop? I actually would prefer to teach you see but would like to know if its actually worth writing a course or buy one and change it.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts! Thanks

Well the problem is most the business owners that want training, don't have money, like you said. You could throw up some solid SEO guides on your website and lock the content with a membership plugin. I'd think something around $20-$50 would be affordable for most of these people. I'm sure there's money in it.

there is a market for this and I do see others advertising for this.. 1 approach is the small business owner who needs to learn how to use wordpress, basic blogging, basic link building, I've seen people charge 200-300 for this, the other approach and the best way to make some decent money is to have office seminars and offer support services. Charge 750 for a all day event and offer ongoing support services at $295 a month plus time. That can work really nicely.

    It does sound cool thanks!

Yes i've also seen that price charged and could partner up with a social media trainer to fill out the day.

Wonder how long its going to take me to write it now lol

good luck man,, def a market for this. I would send out a questionnaire before the event to see what people want to know, the #1 request will be how rank higher for search terms, but after that you might get requests on how to a user to facebook, or what is a no-follow link, etc. I'm sure in a typical 10 person office your going to get 10-15 requests, then you can customize your presentation.
