When I first heard about bitcoins they were less than a dollar, I ignored it and thought it was just a large scale scam or just a waste of time. But now I see bitcoins are like $20 each now and it pisses me of so much cus i cud be like a millionaire if i had just bought a bunch of coins wen i first heard of it... FUARRKKKKK

anyways, it seems like prices keep fluctuating, quite a bit infact usually 1 dollar up or down a day and prices seem to be rising over a long term period, and it makes sense because its an anonymous, nearly untraceable currency, who wouldn't want that, soooo wat do u guys think of doing like a forex sorta thing with bitcoins? is it profitable and what would be the best site to do trading?

i use mt g o x, check the charts at bitcoincharts
you'll find news on the topic, which should help you with your investments

i wouldnt go day trading on bitcoins though, if you see the charts the growth is so gradual it's not even worth checking everyday even. If you bought bitcoins, just buy and forget about it and see if you turned out lucky in a month or so.

not worth it you missed the boat on that... i bought 100 @ $0.47 and sold them off at $25 each back when they got hyped up... still kicking myself for not buying more.

nowadays youd be lucky to flip a small profit in several months timeframe

Yeah ASIC miners were recently released as well so I expect some price fluctuation soon as the difficulty rises, although on the upside the market should be flooded with some cheap GPUs pretty quick :)

I mine for fun and for 'free heating' in the winter but I don't invest real money in it.

I've always wondered, how do you "mine" these bitcoins? Like, does mining mean forex trading, or? (:)

Mine hard on higher price, buy on lower price. Was good but the hash would be higher and higher each time.

I remember when these caused ati cards to be sold out everywhere.
