Wondering if anyone here has been able to add a new paypal account to an ebay sellers account when the paypal was limited but the ebay account was still good?
If so, does everything have to match such as the name and other info?
    Thank you

It doesnt necessarily have to match but no, it doesnt work.
If the account is limited it will tell you that you cant use that account for ebay - since you have to agree with the terms it wont even let you get there.

I hate how this answer is completely vague and not informativve. He's not trying to add the limited paypal account he's trying to create a new one and add it to the ebay.

The PAYPAL is limited NOT the eBay account.

What does "It doesnt necessarily have to match but not, it doesnt work." even mean!? :motz:

I don't know to be honest with you OP, BUT ironically enough I am having the same probhlem right now & to tell you the truth. I think the only way is to change the identity on the eBay before starting the new Paypal with the different identity.

I hope there's a better way that someone might be able to touch on, FROM EXPERIENCE if possible, because some of you guys on this forum, to say the least don't know what the hell you guys say when you say it.

Also with the times things change. So something that might have worked yesterday might not tomorrow.

DougG79. I have been told to play it cool and add the paypal account and then start buying things slowly, get creative as to nCheck to see what happens with the new Paypal, under a different name than that of the eBay.

IF you change the name I have also been told to wait at least 1/2 a month then change the name on the eBay and then add the new Paypal with the name coinciding with the new name on the eBay.

I can't vouch for either method, but as mentioned I am on the same boat! I don't know what to do.

I am thinking the change of the name on the eBay and then adding new Paypal might work.. the only thing that concerns me is if they ask for documentation.

Now this option is what I want to do with ease. Which is transform the eBay to a Business eBay with my DBA (fictitious name) and then create new Paypal with dba information. that should work lovely. but I am a little bit worried either way with all three options..

I hate eBay, yet I love it.

    JEEEEZZZZ

I've done this for about 2 weeks, but am afraid to continue. On other forums, there have been reports of PP stealing your $$. Has anyone attached a new PP account to an ebay account in good standing, but PP got limited permanently? Has it worked long-term for you?
