To be honest I don't see any potential in it, and only use it to check links indexing, but thats about it, probably cuz I don't know how to use it right, I mean spamming with it don't do no good. Any suggestions and advise? Thank you!

I use it to scrape my forum profile links list, but i would definitely want it to add a forum profile creator module for at least popular forum softwares like vbulletin, SMF and PHPbb

Spamming to wordpress is dead. Waste of time i think

HOWEVER

Scrapebox does a million other things. Ive gotten huge keywords to the top spot in a few weeks.

If your not getting results. You dont know how to use it

Thats what I'm saying I need someone to show me how to use it to its full potentials, willing to pay for real good info and tutor. Please PM me or something..

FFS - read the boards, ppl are not moaning about scrapebox so its a hit

bilbo, the OP is asking a genuine question which maybe useful to other members. Just because you are obviously an advanced user of SB, you should not assume everyone shares the same knowledge.

Scrapebox is a great tool. I have seen freaking morons write posts to my blogs that are SPAM such as:

"viagra blog #1....russian bride #2......drug copnay #3" (yes with typos too), the name will have .ru .com site

It really pisses me off to see spam like that. If you're going to use this tool, use it correctly. If your going to spam, AT LEAST TRY AND CONTRIBUTE to someone's blog!

Why the heck would the blog owner accept a spam comment? If it contributes to a discussion at least SOMEWHAT, or is a compliment they might accept it.

Infact, spam comments work, provided they are long enough.People usually post spam comments that are 5 to 10 words only and the major spam comments are

"nice post"
"i found your blog useful"
"thanks for such a wonderful post"

Infact if you can devote some time to bring up a long comment that is general ,then it looks genuine and the chances to stick are higher.

But they are nofollow. So: how does it help?

I only got SB a couple weeks ago and it rocked, still rocks.

No follow may not pass PR but they definitely pass something else, perhaps trust rank or something else?

If you put crap in, you will get crap out. There was a nice post a while back that gave tips on writing quality spinable comments. It focused on Lindsey Lohan as an example. I would have to look for the thread, but you can search for Scrapebox and find it.

The point was you can still make quasi-generic posts, but you focus them more. Pick a hot topic, write some generic posts, spin them up, and then search for blogs with that topic. You post these long comments that are somewhat tied to the post and they will get approved. Maybe not 100%, but a lot better than generic junk or true spam comments.

Honestly, when I see comments on my blogs, I will approve the generic ones. They aren't hurting me any. But there is no way I'm approving spammers.

I have two case of scrape box, one is blogengine comment 240000 links, but now each blogengin has got 300-1000 link on one page. So it is hardly dead, although they are follow.
another case is wordpress comment 90000 links, no follow. But some are fresh. So I am studying this case and follow it now.

As it has already been stated, your not using it right. Scrapebox is one of the most powerful blackhat tools out there. The only other thing that comes to mind that is even in the ball park with scrapebox is xRumer.

Wordpress commenting is far from dead, in fact its a major player. However please keep broadcasting the fact you think it is dead, cause that gives me quite the advantage. ;)

i use it all the time. i see a lot of people who don't know how to use it to its full (or even a fraction of its) potential so i'm writing a guide for it now that will cover ways to maximize scrapebox to rank better among other things

Theres far more efficient ways to use scrapebox than to spam WP blogs.

Problem is if people mention them here 1000s of people copy and they become worthless

Why stop at blogs is all ill say :D

It should have its own section to be honest. Every second thread is about SB

In my view this continues to be a tool which in the right hands is one of the most powerful out there. Its what, a year old now, and sure the wordpress blogs are far from obsolete if you look in the right places (NF aside). For me, looking in the right places is what SB is all about and pretty much has always been. I use it selectivley on a very tight leash in terms of weeding the lower quality linking opportunities.

But, and as I have mentioned in other threads, the power is your hands with SB, you just need to harness the power of your mind, bring the two together and rewards await.....by the way did I mention footprints?.......

I use it for scraping only. The other day I found a site listed 10 pages of directories I want to submit to (using another tool). No problem, I fired up SB, gave it the url of the 10 pages and using link extractor addon, extracted all of those links, and then checked them for indexing/pr.

Nice!!!

i have no problems getting backlinks, thye just seem to be really unrelated :S

that is nice - I hadn't thought about using the link extractor yet. There is some very nice add ons in there.
