I'm not asking about the affiliates on clickbank. I want to know if there is anyone who is selling their product on clickbank here in BHW. I have got some questions to ask, so please let me know :)

There are lots of people selling on CB.

Maybe if you ask your questions then people can help.

^^^^Exactly. There are a ton of product owners here. Just ask your question(s) and I'm sure you will get some input and answers.

I'll pick up where OP left off (amazing what one can find when using the search button, eh?). Anyway, I'm curious about the following things...answer one or all, thanks!

    1) knowing what you know now, what would you do differently when creating a product?
    2) did you outsource the product creation or create it yourself?
    3) has the money been worth the time you put into the product? (as compared to ranking a site and acting as an affiliate for someone else's product)
    4) how long did you work on the product before launching?
    5) why do you think your CB product is/was a success/failure?

    Cheers!

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

Hmmm, those sound like some legit questions. I would like to know the answers to them
myself in case I want to launch my own product.

I will jump in here as well. What goes into a great product? I have ideas for three and have been considering outsourcing product design just to get something great on these first.

These are some great questions, if you don't mind i also have a question whats required to make a product, talking about things like auto responders and payment processing, use clickbanks or use other sources for payment.

I don't use clickbank, instead went with click2sell.eu. They had better terms for non-US people imo. But they are one and the same really with regards to these questions.

    1) Just release the damn thing already. Don't sit on it. Don't have some attachment to it. Don't be worried some won't like it. Don't try and guess what features customers want. Get the basics / fundamentals in, then get it out there. Then add the advanced features you get asked for

    2) Made it myself

    4) Yes and no. Some products sell well, others not so well. But overall, the answer is yes

    5) I don't use clickbank, I use click2sell.eu for handling the aff side of things (same thing as clickbank though). But why was it a success. Well, that is a hard question to answer really. I suppose you can go business analytical on it:
    * It fulfils a requirement that people have

Or can go ego stroking on it:
    * It is the best product of it's kind out there

    Can do the luck route
    * Right place at the right time

Or perhaps a bit of all the above and then somethings else. But mainly, perhaps, I just went and did it. There 0% chance of success if you just "think" about doing it, or just "plan" it.

My products are software programs, so you need to know how to code. Then have a licensing system.

Payment processor: I went with the provided paypal / moneybookers. Also have a note on the page letting people know I can accept manual payments via
    paxum
    payoneer
    etc
