Anyone seeing traffic growth after adding schema?

I tried adding FAQ/HowTo markup on a couple of my pages where it made sense and saw a small CTR lift. Rankings didn’t move, but impressions and clicks went up a bit after a few weeks. For me, the key is relevance—don’t overdo it or force markup where it doesn’t fit. Start with a couple pages, track it, and only scale if you actually see a signal.

Yeah, I’ve tested schema on a few projects.

From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t directly boost rankings, but it can improve visibility and CTR if your pages qualify for rich results. FAQ used to work really well, but lately it’s more limited and not always shown.

HowTo and Review schema can still help in the right niches, especially if the content actually matches the markup. The key is keeping everything natural and not overdoing it.

What I usually do:

  • Add schema only where it makes sense (don’t force it on every page)
  • Make sure the content matches the schema properly
  • Focus on clean on-page SEO first, then use schema as an extra layer
As for risks, overusing or adding misleading schema can get ignored or even flagged, so it’s better to stay realistic.

Overall, it’s a small boost tool, not a game changer — but worth using correctly.

You can use review and product schema for immediate CTR boost but must be maintain the term and condition to avoid spamming.
