    Hi,
I have 5 sites and 4 of them dropped ranking to under #200, All were on first page of Google for a few months. Anyone see this? New Google update?

So are we now supposed to use domains that have nothing to do with our keyword anymore? What about small business names like "tony's tire shop", what are they supposed to do?

Maybe I should just start buying random domains like skkriek.com or iwhsiij.com since it seems more likely to get punished just for using a relevant domain name...

EMDs with LOW QUALITY content are being affected, not *all* EMDs!

If your site got hit then you must accept the fact that your content is LOW QUALITY regardless of how high a quality you think it is (or my favorite---regardless of how much of an "authority" site your website is)! Again, EMDs with low quality content = dead as of yesterday's update.

Alright I will have to check my sites when I get home later. I guess the main thing that stays consistant after each update is "quality content". I guess its time to produce quality content and not just throw stuff together as fast as possible to churn out many sites at a time.

My articles are high quality 2$/100 words not like crap articles with 1$/100 words. I never use Scrapebox blast or similar. I just use quality link building services. So what exactly cause problem?

so what are the true standards on "high quality" content?

I just started an exact match domain. it is an "xxxxkeyword.com" Is this bad now?? and if so, why in the devil is it bad?

Especially on one site, my pages are of a quality unmatched by any competitors. Videos (not hosted on GoogleTube), pages written by an architectural engineer and CAD blueprints in PDF form. I spent a large amount of money on content, and Google kicks me in the balls because I just happened to register a good domain name nearly fifteen years ago? FUCK GOOGLE

I didn't see much change in my sites. But have to double check them once again. High quality content is also very important as mentioned above.

My traffic is actually up about 20% percent since last night. Big Increase I'm ranking higher for certain keywords. I wonder if it has anything to do with this update.

About 50% of my sites have dropped off the first page for their main keywords, including some quite high quality sites of mine. Also it isn't just EMDs that seem to be affected.

Can regurgitate any harder?? How stupid of a statement. Just because Fatt Cutts says something doesn't mean it is true. MOst of the times it is the exact opposite. My content is high quality and regardless what you think I know it is. And yes it was hit.

When Google rolls out these updates, they have to keep an image of what they are doing. Going after low quality domains sounds good right? Better than saying, "Google update today and we are targeting every single webmaster out there. If you have quality content and offer value to your customers, fuck off! We dont care!"

    Sounds better right?
