I had to switch to Linux temporarily and Long Tail Pro is an app that I use a lot. I have heard that Adobe AIR environment can run on any platform. However, official Adobe website does not offer to download the environment for Linux.

Is here anyone who sucessfully runs the LTP on Ubuntu/Xubuntu? :)

Before you go into details and punish the small penguin for not being the main choice for most of the SEO's (and thus their programs), I would recommand that you try out virtualbox, which is available directly here in case you cannot install it using a respository.

Virtualbox lets you install a virtual machine within your linux system. For simplicity, you may try out a clean WinXP where all SEO tools should be ready to go.

Thank you, Stufferizer :) I actually like Linux very much. Only sometimes the Windows apps are not so comfortable to use .))

Hey Leo00, you're welcome. I also like Linux, but some things are better handled with Windows as it is not the main priority of developers to provide cross-platform implementations (the same goes also vice-versa, especially for open-source and programming related applications).

Sadly, there is no real swiss-army-knife-OS imho.

It used to work flawlessly until the programmer updated it to only work with Adobe Air 3.8 and above.
