I'm looking forward to get into bodybuilding but I'm pretty much clueless as where to start. I know that I will need to plan out a diet as well as a training exercise but I am looking towards doing all of this naturally without any powder shakes and the likes. I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend any UK forums from personal experience? There's quite a few but I'd rather stick to one and just work from there on. I'd rather stay away from forums that are just marketing products as they're more likely to have false information.

"naturally without any powder shakes and the likes"

You're gonna get destroyed on every serious bodybuilding forum if you post something like that. So refrain from calling powder(protein) shakes unnatural.

http://www.bodybuilding.com offers the best forums you will ever be able to find, there are literally thousand of threads to get you started there.

That's the thing, by natural I mean 100% natural. Powder doesn't grow on trees or isn't made by chickens. I have nothing against powder protein shakes but I would rather stick to making my own protein shakes from eggs, etc.

Alright, let me rephrase myself, without the need of supplementation products.

its possible to grow your muscles without protein shakes but only if you get enough protein with the things you eat.
I do BB for a couple of years now and something very important in bodybuilding is the food.
Meat like chicken has much protein. But also quark andoat flakes. As you can see the nutrition is very important if you want to build muscles without any shakes.

But the training is important too. For that you can check out the board bodybuilding dot com ( as already mentioned )
    hope this helps

The most visited forum globally is forum.bodybuilding.com

If you are member of any private tracker or open tracker you can find many books or videos talking about all you need from nutrition to lifting.

I personally follow Jeff willet instructions,he have dvds/books with high level instructions,he is also the guy behind 'I want to look like that guy' documentarie that i recommend you watch.

Personally I would say to stay away from BB.com forums, full of people spouting shit. Simplyshredded.com forum is much better, and sounds more like the kind of thing you are after. Also check out leangains.com some great info on there.

Not sure about forums but nothing wrong with taking protein. 90% of people who are serious about the gym will take shakes...

Wait till you hit the barrier, it wont be long till your on test enhances and pro hormones!
