I am not a trader, but I bought 2000 shares of this several months back at 5 bucks a share.

Now they are doing some kind of reverse split and I am not sure how this will help me.

It's hovering around the 4.42 range so I am down already.

Wondering if I should just let it ride and see what happens long term.

Not sure what that would bring.

Does anyone have any insight on this? :)

are they about to do a reverse split?
I know that the board agreed to do the reverse split about 6 months ago but they didn't make it yet. but they are allowed to do it whever they want until the end of the year.

also the lending patterns of all banks have changed which was the cause of their downfall.they had achieved bottom in the big crash so keep holding in future it will give good returns .also trends show that most of the stocks rise after a split

Im pretty bullish on financial sector right now. If you follow any of the top hedge funds, you will see they are too. In this case I dont think the split will make a differnce in the long run if you plan on holding.

If you check out TORM. They had a 1:5 reverse split about a year ago at $3.00. It didn't affect momentum in the least and is now trading close to nineteen dollars. With C, It all depends on the Markets, Banks E.R.'s and Management.
