Ran out of room in the title.

I am doing local SEO for a company that does commercial make ready work, they go in after a tenant leaves, repaint the apartment, and make it ready for the new tenants.

I have always called this "Make ready" but even though there are thousands of property management firms in Houston, there is zilch for search volume for this term when applied to housing. It is also a term used for the print media industry and this is where the search comes from here.

Does anyone know of a term that is used other than "Make Ready" or its derivatives?

In the US.. Uh, "cleaning". "refurnishing". "revamping". Ah hah! Got it "move-in-ready". Make your apartment move-in-ready!

"Staging" is the term for houses. It's a hot niche too.

Staging is a good one too, but you got to be careful about picking keywords based solely on search volume. You already said the best one (property management)... assuming this is how the client would describe their services. If you went with something like "staging" you'd be going too far off course. If someone is searching for the phrase "staging" they're more likely to be looking for something like props, lighting, etc. Nothing related to property management services... which is what you should focus on.
