I'm looking for a good mass file editor, preferably free. I want it to be able to find and replace text in files in mass quantities. Anyone know of some software like this?

    Windows Grep will do that.

Thanks. Just tried the program and it gives this message for each of my files that I tried to replace text with:

"Replace not performed - file is binary."

Is there some software that can mass convert binary files into plain-ASCII text files (again, preferably free)?
