I don't think you can get it for free. However, I believe the creator is a member here. PM him maybe you guys can work out something, like a payment plan.

Yes, the owner is a Member Here. Also, I believe it is on the DNS list.

But if you read on their forum the program is barely working right now so If you are going to buy it you might wanna wait until the program actually works or Maybe find an alternative to AMR even though i've been looking for weeks now and i'm unable to find one.

    Talk about misrepresentation...

AMR works fine! The forum deals with various bug fixes etc., but to say it barely works is a joke. Like any tool, you need to take the time to learn it and then make the effort to use it properly.

I use it very successfully every working day. Saying that you can't get it to work is a reflection on how much effort you're prepared to put in; not on the program itself.

Check out this thread for tips if you're having problems:

    Ha!

Well, i'm very glad that it works for you. To say that I haven't read on how to use the tool is a Misrepresentation of itself right there.

I ran/Run the program on 2 different VPS's Plus on my desktop and laptop.

Out of those 4 only 1 actually works without crashing every time i start up. Believe me when I say I've tried almost everything I can think of trying to fix the 3 other versions. The one thing I haven't done and don't see any need to do is to totally reformat my computer.

Maybe you should go ahead and not assume that I'm a total newbie at Running AMR I've had it since it came out and been using everyday since.

I've sent over 20 emails to vince regarding my issues sent him my DB along with my sitelist. I even offered to send him some money to help if he needed to hire another programmer to fix all the current bugs. Sometimes he'll respond and other times he will not. Whatever, it is what it is.

You know what they say about those that assume..

Thanks for that link though. I'll check it out and see if it applies to my situation at all. :)

I don't really get the hype around AMR. I'm sure it's a great software but it feels like they paid no attention to the interface when they made it. It's not really user-friendly. One tool that I would recommend for article submissions is definitely article marketing demon. The interface is a lot easier to navigate and it's a great tool for the sole purpose of article submissions. Does the job just fine.

I didn't make the assumption that you're a newbie; only that you maybe hadn't put in the effort to get it working well for you. There are so many threads that are down on AMR, and I just don't understand it. I use it on an industrial scale, and so does one of the business partners, and we rarely experience a freeze/lockup or bug.

But I didn't mean it to sound like I was 'dis'ing you...

Most threads seem to come down on it because they're not prepared to build the directory lists out - which is the real way of making it useful.

When you consider what it's doing and the speed it does it, it's a pretty amazing piece of software, and I'm a developer myself, so I appreciate what's going on.

It's unfortunate that you've had problems, and I couldn't guess why; tech can be fustrating sometimes, but I can only think there's some driver or installation incompatibility somewhere.

My tips thread could help with increasing your subs and indexing though when you get it working.

    Good luck!

I don't know how they could have made it much different and keep it as a clean tool? There's an author/account screen, and article creation and maintenance screen and a submissions/directory screen. It only takes me 30-60s to copy and paste in a submission and hit submit. And directory signup is easy too?

I admit it's not 'pretty' - but it's a tool, and I prefer streamlines interfaces which don't get in my way.

I'm stunned you find AMD better though.

With the right SEO plan in mind, you can get back the money you have paid for the software, it's basically an investment.

If you're down on money, try using the trial version. (You could also buy someone else's account or he will let you use it especially if he is discouraged about the results from it or he simply doesn't know how to use it.)

amr is something dead right now and the owner does not seem to care any issues or try to hear what people say.

All pirated copies suck. I just buy them, or rent them from somebody.

The software isn't dead. It's just article directories that have been hit very hard with the Panda updates...

So many started up that expected some AdSense earnings and failed because Panda knocked their results out of the park.

I use AMR day-in, day-out and get between 1500-2000 succesfull submissions with 500-700 AA's. It works VERY well for me; but I have to work hard on building and maintaining the directory list.

I don't see AMR as the issue; it's just one of the pieces of software I consider a tool as part of my strategy. The tool itself isn't a strategy; it's just a tool. It's like saying a carpenters strategy is a power saw. A power saw is just one of the tools he uses to implement his build strategy, and he has to learn how to get the best 'cut' out of it by experience.

    Dude,

Developers don't waste time for nothing. It's just a small thing that we'll pay for their hard work. Don't try to steal them.
