Anyone know if SEO spyglass backlinks are good?

Hi all,

I just received an e-mail from link-assistant (the company that does Spyglass). Completely forgot I checked out their tools a while ago but apparently my e-mail addy is in their system.

This is what it said:

"The awaited huge backlink source was just launched for SEO SpyGlass - 3 weeks ahead of planned release"

Obviously you need to pay for one of their priced plans.

Does anyone know if their backlink database is 'huge' as they claim and whether these are good backlinks?

you do NOT have to pay to have access to the database.

you are free to use SEO SpyGlass free version (it never expires either) - with the free version you still have access to the backlink database (+ access to link data from 412 search engines)

the only limitation in the free version is that SEO SpyGlass will find thousands of links BUT will only show up to 1,100 links per site


Free SEO SpyGlass version:
Links from external sources: Up to 1,100 links
Extra links from internal database: Up to 1,100 links per website, 5 checks per day

Where do they get their backlinks from?

baclinks come from the new backlink index/database (data does not come from ahrefs, majestic or other stuff of the kind - it is a 100% home-made backlink index) that SEO SpyGlass provider has been working on for quite some time now and has now released. Read full news on Link-Assistant.Com site

As before, links will also come from external sources which are the same old 412 supported search engines - full list on here

Here is how SEO SpyGlass works: it searches for links in both the internal database and externally in the supported search engines. It then removes the duplicates between the two and shows you as many links as your version permits (see the details in my answer above)

I guess I should mention, again, just in case, that I work for the above provider so the info is 99.99% legit and official - minus my occasional offtopic rants and personal bias

It's still low, i've just check my compertitors sites with ver 4.8, they have thoundsands backlink before but now hundreds.
