    Generally speaking (and I am not a lawyer) you cannot use a company or product name that is trademarked. Those examples you gave probably would not fly. Most people try to get away with this until they get a cease and desist letter, but Microsoft in particular has deep pockets and an army of attorneys looking for this kind of stuff. Tread carefully and talk to a lawyer if you intend to follow through.

    This thread is in the wrong section.

    Go for more generic domain names. Those domain names will eventually get you into quite a bit of legal trouble.
