I have about 400 text files that all have one line of text in them. I'm trying to find a way to copy all the text from each file into one master text file that is a list of all the lines pulled from those files. I'm looking for something that can do this so that I don't have to go thru each file to copy/paste.

    Any ideas?

simple batch file : copy *.txt master.txt

the star is wildcard so it takes them all :) if different file format then change it :)

    Its easy to make.

    1. open notepad type in: copy *.txt master.txt
    2. save it as something.bat into same folder than the text files
    3. run it

    Easy as hell

Does this actually pull the text from the files or just gather the text file names and put them into a file? I want something that grabs the text from each file and puts it into the list.
