Dont think talking about drugs are against forum TOS (this topic is not prescription meds) as i checked in the rules and see lots posting here about them so:

    Well its 'Legal' Party Pills

marketed as legal safer herbal with no prescription required and alternatives to hardcore drugs

Giving you a high (uppers) without the site effects and addiction maybe?

Anyone know about these? How common are their usage?

Think they originate from the UK

Here in Australia where i am there were a few teens overdose on herbal 'giggle' pills - apparently mainly guarana tablets like from the energy drinks but each giggle pill is equal 30 to 40 energy drinks like red bull etc.

One kid took all three tablets at once on his way to a rave party = super high heart rate and trip to hospital. Could in extreme cases cause like heart attack i guess.

Think they are going to ban them in Australia as result.

Possible Ideas: Could be a good new niche with low competition to cash in on somehow? Target teens or set up a ecommerce store and dropship via another site and pocket the difference........

Discuss if you know something thanks

I have a female friend whos taken them a few times. She got really messed up on them, ended up under a table sucking on someones fingers....

I male friend of mine took the same amount and felt nothing at all.

Definately could be a profitable niche if they dont end up getting banned.

thx for the advice marieke - will check out the site u mention

I know most people who can get their hands on the real stuff are probably not going bother but others with less cash and feel these maybe a safer way to experiment - so could be a market

kypter consider the legal consequences while you're at it from selling a drink which is basically super high doses of caffeine from Guarana which weaken the heart and could cause a rash of heart attacks in kids and a class action lawsuit.

They were actually invented in New Zealand by a meth addict who wanted something legal and non-addictive. Hence party pills were born.

The active ingredient in them is BZP which is actually a horse tranquilizer. Anyhow, party pills are banned in NZ and I'm pretty sure Aussie is to follow as well.

These drugs aren't prescribed so I don't think they come under the rules.

BZP is actually getting controlled in the UK soon. Same with that GBL or w.e. it was called.

Problem is most people who take them have tried the illegal pills before. These legal ones are much much weaker, just as dangerous and many times more expensive.

There is some competition in the niche, but i'd say overall it was too small to make a decent amount of money on.

    Worth a try though.

    One word: Mephedrone.

Don't really want to go into it too much or give anyone any ideas, you can have a look for yourself, but I've tried most illegal drugs including: Cocaine, MDMA, GHB etc.. (not proud of it) and Mephedrone was and is a lot stronger and better than good coke, plus it's legal and is about half the price.

Legal highs will be made illegal in the UK soon and weed is going to be made a class b. Maybe there will be people rushing to get these "Legal Highs" before they go illegal and you can make some nice change from it? but only those who dares wins rodney.

I'll look up the other stuff though, thanks!

The market for legal highs is mainly onine anyway, and very well established. Dropshipping might work, but from an SEO perspective, getting traffic made up of people looking to buy these things will be no easier than in any other established niche.

I've used several legal highs in my time. They are effective, but carry at least as much cardio-related danger as illegal drugs. They are many times less potent than the classic illegal drugs (aside, of course, from salvia and ayahuasca), but their side effects can be just as bad.

On the whole, I'd say stick to the real thing if you want to trip or party hard.

Weed already is a class B, it got reclassified about a year ago.

But yeah, they aren't making all "legal highs" illegal, just specific ones. For example: GBL, BZP and a certain Cannabinoid (Spice).

This is not a new idea. In the US back in the late 90's I remember they came out with some bullshit called herbal ecstasy. The pill were totally crap as the did not do shit and the fad died out quick. Personally I think it has pretty weak marketing potential because everyone who is uses drugs know that this shit is bunk.

Whoa got some replies - just bouncing some ideas is all and i dont know much about this subject, so thanks for enlightening me more guys

It may not be new idea but could re-emrge and be under utilised with my quick research revealing a lack of info on the topic

I was more thinking of knocking up a content site and putting adsense on it from a secondary ac and see what big g thought of it and stats would be like........ Thought there maybe heaps of interest and natural traffic coming from google if you can get higher enough rankings for the keywords. Some of the keywords are very low comp but whether their is enough searches is the thing

would love to start a thread here in the bhw lounge where i post some potential new niches and trends that i come across as i may as well share them since i never get around to making the sites
