Anyone know a wordpress plugin to hide categories in a specific category?

lol, my question sounds a bit weird: how to hide categories in a specific category in wordpress?

I've been looking for it through google and found a couple of plugins, but I haven't found one that let me do the thing I need. Perhaps you know this kind of plugin or know how to configure it so it will meet my needs?
