I am fed up with seeing people selling domains for thousands.
They hand register it for $10 and are selling it for $1k.

Where can I learn more about it?

There is a really good channel on YouTube. I heard about domain flipping from him for the very first time. I think that dude is doing this for more than two decades now. Anyways, his channel's name was affiliatemarketingmc (no gap in channel's name). Please open a journey thread if you decide to give domain flipping a try and let me know. I would love to see your progress in this field :)

There are certain blogs i used to follow. Visit this guy -- abdulbasit.com

You can basically keep a watch on dropped domains and grab for cheap, hold it as long as it need to be and let someone make you an offer.

I knew a guy that did this for a living back in 2015. He told me that it's not all rainbows and sunshine as you have to literally scoop THOUSANDS of domains and hope someone is going to want the domains you've taken. He also told me that if you don't have a 10k$ budget or more, that it's best not to even start.

Even then, he had periods stretching a few weeks where nobody would inquire about any of the domains. In my opinion, it's a very risky business venture.

Domaining is super difficult. People now know that exact match domain names have no significant value in SEO so they are less likely to invest big bucks. Google.com is more popular than Search.com

This business is a good idea. But you need some good resources and funds to run it. Once you buy some good expired domains you need a lot of patience to wait for the ideal buyer. This is a real test!

Let me save you the time & hustle, to succeed in this field, you've got two options :

- Having the budget & experience to make your own tool to scan the WWW for valuable SEO domains & catch them before everyone else's, don't think that using public services available to every joe is going to help.

- Having the budget to compete in furious bidding against others with budgets.

Domain flipping were best few years back. Now value of them are decreasing.

Totally agree, requires lot of time and money, Automation on sites like eBay, drop catch etc.

Nobody is buying domains for 10$ and selling for thousands. People who are actually doing this are buying in thousands and selling in thousands.
